I forgot to mention that yesteday I played dodgeball too. I played dodgeball and it was a load of fun even though it was only with 8 other kids and we had one ball. It was unfair too. The teacher was a strong guy and wipped the ball at his kids and pegged with with a slap and each time leaving a nice red mark. Some kids even cried. I didn't thow the ball that hard. The teacher and I were on one team with 3 other kids. We were against 5 other kids. I just followed the teacher into the gym during my free peroid and asked what was going on today, dodgeball? He said no. But later when was explaining everything to the kids he said they would play dodgeball at the end and everyone cheered. Apparently though if you catch the ball the other person doesn't get out. Still fun.
Tonight I am going to Miyoko's. She is a nice Japanese lady that lives in the nearby city, Gobo. She cooks up an increadible buffett of food for all the ALTs(JET people) in the immediate area. She has been doing this for like 10 years. I think the JET Program was started in 1986. Anywho, at most I met about 10 other ALTs and we talk about classes and stuff. Most people don't have a car so they either take the train or ride their bikes. The bikes that everyone rides are crappy looking girl bikes with baskets. The seats have springs underneath them. Anywho, the dinner is usually a good time. I usually stop and get ice cream at the 31 Flavors at Roman City when I go to Gobo.
